Shots!

I think they're riffing on the song Shots that left me feeling aurally bludgeoned the first time I heard it.

190 Bowery

I never understood why the massive building on the corner of Spring and Bowery hadn't long ago been sold to developers. I assumed there was some kind of property dispute or other court hang-up keeping it from joining the mushrooming up-scale development of the Bowery and got so excited to snap this picture of what I assumed to be the light of a solitary squatter but then I found out the truth. The building is a six story, 72 room single family home of an artist who bought it in the 60s for $100,000! Check out this article on New York's website and the following interior shots:

Nighty Night

Sarah and I just burned through the whole first season of this twisted comedy last night and can't stop feeling awful/delighted about it. It stars Julia Davis (also the writer) as the "narcissistic sociopath" Jill Tyrell. Here's the first episode:

Fun fact: Julia Davis is married to the Mighty Boosh's Julian Barratt (Howard Moon), thus usurping Amy Poehler and Will Arnett as my all time favorite comedy couple.

FML

This is the kid of a friend of a friend who is obsessed with Led Zeppelin. How is this four year old already cooler than everyone I know? Please help get this video viewed more than 50 times. Can anyone tell what if any song he's performing? The amount of time he spends fussing over the settings on his cardboard amp encapsulates everything that is awesome about kids.
